~ The Penelec Fund for the Future of Greater Johnstown of the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies ~
We were awarded a grant in the amount of $2,000 in support of our growing Middle-School/High-School After-School Program. The needs of Middle-School and High-School kids has been a growing concern of ours - and we have expanded our services to try to meet some of those needs. We could use more help! VOLUNTEERS are welcome!!

New Day ministered to 1,761 individuals during 2015!  Check out the PROGRAM STATISTICS here!

NDI is a non-profit 501(C)3 charitable organization which is funded entirely by the free-will contributions of individuals, churches, civic and social groups, businesses, and private grants and foundations. New Day is a separate charitable organization which is governed by its own Board of Directors and is not affiliated with any one church group or denomination.

In support of this generous funding, New Day hosts an Annual Fundraising Banquet in the Fall at which donors pledge their giving for the coming year. Other fundraising efforts are spearheaded by the Friends of New Day organization. Some of those activities have included an Annual Thanksgiving Hymn Sing; Boscov's Charity Coupon Day; and Christmas Gift Wrapping Booth at the Galleria Mall.

Information on these events can be found on our EVENTS & NEWS page as the time for each comes around!

We also rely on the generous donations of goods throughout the year for supplies in our Children's Ministry Programs. Anything from paper towels to pencils; backpacks for back-to-school give away; healthy snack items and craft supplies. So much of what we use on a day-to-day basis with the kids has been donated by the community.

If you're interested in donating in any way, go to our DONATIONS page and see how you can help!
