"Building God's Kingdom One Life at a Time"

Windber New Day, located in the Windber Community Building, concentrates on Youth Ministry and has been a blessing to the Windber community for over 30 years! Directed by Gary Rowles with the assistance of his wife, Crystal, they minister to more than 200 teens in a years' time.


Programs Include:

  • After-School Program - for Middle School and High School youth - Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 2:30 to 5:00 pm where they can relax, get snacks and enjoy a Christ-centered atmosphere.


  • "The Construction Zone" - founded on the words of Romans 10:13-15a, this is a great place for kids to hang out on the weekends and a focused youth bible study and discipleship building time. During the school year they're open Friday and Saturday evenings from 7:30 to 10:00 pm. The mission of Windber New Day:

  • "Character Development Club" - Tuesday mornings a faithful volunteer, Mark Murchie, is able to help with this club that meets in the Windber Middle School, essentially a Bible Study in the school.


  • Outreach - "Giving Thanks Dinner" at Thanksgiving and Christmas help for families - a cooperative ministry with 

          St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 605 Graham Ave., Windber, PA 15963.         ​
